About the Class
Freestyle dancing started in 1977 with the release of the film Saturday Night Fever. It was then called Disco Dancing. It gave young people the chance to dance without a partner, and move to modern music. Although it was thought it was just a phase ,it is still one of the most popular dance styles around the world.
Moves include spinning, jumping, high kicks and leaps, etc following upbeat and fast music or slow which allow dancers to express themselves.
