Our mission is to provide dance training at the highest standard in a safe, fun and friendly enviroment for children, teenagers and adults.
At Plymouth Dance Academy we are qualified to teach from Tiny Tots to advance level.
We cater those who would like to follow a professional career in dance as well as those who would like to dance just for pure enjoyment.
We nurture and encourage students to their full potential no matter their age or ability whilst trying to transmit our passion for dance.

Mrs Hawkins was born in Seville, Spain where she began her ballet training at the National Consevatoire gaining her degree in 1994. After this she trained at a professional level at the most prestigious vocational school in the country "Studio Maria de Avila".
Alongside her ballet training she also trained in Contemporary, Flamenco, Ballroom and Latin with many prestigious naional and international teachers.
After a few years dancing professionally Mrs Hawkins began her teaching career in Portugal teaching for several dance schools and companies while running her own dance school and contemporary dance company before she moved to England in 2004.
While teaching Mrs Hawkins adquire her English qualifications being now quailfied by the three main examinations boards in the country ISTD, RAD and IDTA.
Mrs Hawkins has been teaching in Cambrigeshire, Linconshire and Republic of Ireland for several dance schools before she moved to Devon in 2009 where she is been teaching since.

Miss Becky Snee A BA(HONS)
Miss Becky has been dancing since the age of 6 with Deborah Bond Dance Academy where she studied ISTD ballet with Mrs Carmen since 2009. She later attended Geraldine Lamb Dance School studying ISTD Modern.
In 2012 whilst studying dance at City College Plymouth she found her love of dance and decided to pursue a career as a dancer and teacher. She studied and performed at City College for two years Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, African Dance and Bollywood. She gain an NCFE Level 2 Certificate, BTEC Level 3 with Distinction+ and BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma with Triple Distinction+.
She has also gained a dance degree at Middlesex University London in 2016. While studying in London she competed with University's Cheerleading Squad at BCA Championships for two year graduating with a Second Class Honours, Upper Division (2:1) in 2016
Miss Becky will be teaching Ballet and Contemporary from September 2016.
